Perched at 980 metres on the cool slopes of Mount Canobolas, Colmar Estate is one of Orange’s highest and most awarded vineyards. This boutique, family–owned winery crafts ultra–premium, single–vineyard wines—think Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir—all hand–picked and shaped by volcanic soils and pristine conditions. Union Bank
Located in the heart of Orange, Union Bank—affectionately known as The UB—Hatted Chef Dom and his team offer a stylish and versatile lunch experience that blends heritage charm with modern Australian cuisine. Guests can dine in the acclaimed Schoolhouse Restaurant, where share–style dishes showcase seasonal produce and culinary finesse, or opt for a relaxed bite in the leafy courtyard with cocktails and local wines. With options ranging from express lunches to long, lingering meals, Union Bank is a go–to for everything from casual catch–ups to special celebrations.
Stockman’s Ridge Wines
Set along one of Orange’s most picturesque driveways, lined with over 170 golden elm trees, Stockman’s Ridge Wines offers a relaxed yet refined cellar door experience just minutes from town. This boutique, family–owned vineyard by Jonno & Lisa are known for its award–winning cool–climate varietals—like Pinot Noir, Grüner Veltliner, and Bordeaux–style blends—crafted with a focus on sustainability and elegance. Guests can enjoy guided tastings, grazing boards, live music Saturdays, and sweeping vineyard views, all in a welcoming setting that blends country charm with polished hospitality.

Each winery operates under a Responsible Service of Alcohol licence and may decline service to any guest they believe has consumed too much alcohol.
